After creating a dress inspired by broken glass, I have the idea to create an outfit based on stained glass. As I neither used stain glass or normal glass to hand to create my design I used clear plastic to create the glass, tissue paper to add the colour and create the stained glass effect and finally black acrylic paint for the lead linings around the stained glass. I chose the four colours that I had that I had most commonly seen in stain glass windows, mostly from churches. As I had taken inspiration from christian themed stain glass I decided to create a head piece inspired by the typical halo all the saint’s have in the depictions to go along with the outfit.
